Sheffield homeless charity launches spring furniture sale which offers ‘big discounts’

Emmaus Sheffield is offering exceptional discounts on some of its extensive range of furniture

Emmaus Sheffield is the drug and alcohol-free project that provides accommodation, support and work for formerly homeless people in the city.

Through its Social Enterprise program, the companions of Emmaus aim to give rewarding work to the people they support so that they eventually become independent again.

One of its main fundraising programs is the hugely popular thrift store Emmaus Sheffield at the organization’s headquarters in the historic Sipelia Works, a former cutlery factory in Cadman Street, close to the canal basin of Sheffield.

And now its spring sale has just kicked off as it offers great discounts on some of its huge range of furniture.

Emmaus Sheffield Deputy Manager Charley Fedorenko said: “There really is no better time to come and have a look around our store as we are offering generous savings on many furniture items until while stocks last.

“As always, however, when there is a sales boom which is immediately followed by a need for fresh stock.

“We’re always on the lookout for furniture – which still needs to have its fire safety tags on – that we can have picked up so we don’t have to worry about getting it delivered.”
