Mimiyuuuh reveals her ‘real personality’ during online tour of the house – Manila Bulletin

I like to say I love Mimiyuuuh, but frankly I’m not a fan of silly antics and “meme-like” poses. Out of the dark, Mimiyuuuh’s tiny shoulders now “carry” well-known brands, recommendations and influence online, with her millions of subscribers (her YouTube channel alone has over three million subscribers!).

So my first “introduction” to Mimiyuuuh came through her “Empty House Tour” (now with over a million views in less than a day!) With a title card “Ang Katas ng Pagyoutube ! Her family’s new home isn’t exactly empty in a way as her parents and siblings already reside there, but she still needs a lot of work.

According to Mimiyuuuh, after a few months of looking for accommodation, her family finally opted for it because they “felt at home”. She also mentioned her broker, who helped her find this property. Upon entering the gate, an empty garage (possibly for two cars) welcomes visitors. I find it smart that Mimiyuuuh keeps mentioning certain brands of cars, subtly “wooing” them to get her as an endorser. Like what Mimiyuuh joked in the video: “Make me rich, bitch!”

The living room of the house is surprisingly clean and stylish. It is airy and visually wide, perhaps due to the high ceiling. As daylight enters the living room, it is not even necessary to turn on the lights. The wall and ceiling are painted white, while the floor tiles are also white (something like faux marble), which adds to the overall elegance of the space.

What is also surprising is that the house has a swimming pool, an “accessory” for the elite. But here, Mimiyuuuh sees the pool not only as a refreshing view, but also as proof that her hard work has “already paid off.”

The kitchen area is also modern, behind a classy and elegant dining set. There’s a modern induction and exhaust set, which Mimiyuuuh jokingly reveals that she doesn’t know how to work. She also points to a microwave (with a special mention to Lazada), which is the first time her family has owned one.

Mimiyuuuh appreciates the “unfinished” finish of the concrete staircase. However, she plans to put a glass balustrade on the second floor for more security. There are three bedrooms on the second level. One for his sister, one for his brother and one for his parents. With a special mention to a cabinetmaking brand (notably its website), the rooms are comfortable. Light and breeze can easily enter through the large windows.

Outside his parents’ bedroom, there is still an unfinished terrace. Mimiyuuuh reveals to her audience that the place is so airy, especially when looking at the stars here at night, which she loves to do to relax.

Mimiyuuuh’s bedroom is located on the first floor, which is the master bedroom. A few things are still missing, but it’s an interior designer’s dream to decorate this space to reflect Mimiyuuuh’s energy and eccentricity. There is a small walk-in closet, now stocked with clothes and stuff.

It has its own bathroom, which is very modern, with elegant accessories. There is a glass window opening, which offers a view of the swimming pool. The funny thing is, Mimiyuuuh kept commenting on the house’s Japanese-branded toilet, which has buttons for various functions. You have to look at this part about the toilet, and how it doesn’t meet Mimiyuuuh’s “standard”.

Outside the house, next to the swimming pool, is a rough terrain of greens. He reveals his parents’ desire to plant trees and flowers. It is still a work in progress.

So what’s the big reveal?

For me, it’s not even the house, because it’s also a work in progress. What’s telling is how witty, smart, and savvy this character from Mimiyuuuh is. The 19 minute video is just “passed” with it mentioning at least a few brands (a soft drink, junk food, its broker, a cabinetmaker, a piece of furniture, etc.). This kind of “parinageIs also done by other celebrities making online home visits (Read: https://mb.com.ph/2020/09/23/find-out-the-real-reasons-celebs-are-opening -their-homes -online /), but Mimiyuuuh took the “charm road” by becoming, yes, just charming with a huge dose of comedy and self-mockery. I also found her character online surprisingly likable, contrary to what I initially thought I would be irritated with.

Now, whether she mentions the brands unknowingly or not, the “deception” is that we don’t know her true motives and intentions, but we don’t care while we’re entertained. I’m not a fan of Mimiyuuuh but found her home tour more watchable than those established celebrities who are “fakish” as they are simply forced by the circumstances to fill out content for their online channels.

Mimiyuuuh is not ashamed to admit that she is, indeed, gaining views from her YouTube videos (your viewing is continually “interrupted” by advertisements). She works hard for the money and is outspoken in telling you to “make her rich, bitch!” Beneath his humor and stupidity lie the determination and courage to succeed for the good of his family. For that, well done to her for reminding us of the value of hard work and perseverance. And yes, to also remind us to like, subscribe or comment on his channel.
