Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is bringing a new terminal to Gölcük District. Work continues for the new terminal located in Piyalepaşa Mahallesi.
The Metropolitan Municipality of Kocaeli is constructing a new intercity bus terminal in and around the former slaughterhouse in Gölcük. The ruins of the old slaughterhouse building, which was dismantled by the municipality of Gölcük, have been cleared. The contractor, which won the tender, carried out excavation and backfilling work in the area. After the relocation works, the development of the land was carried out.
IT WILL BE ON 2 FLOORS
The lean concrete of the Gölcük intercity bus station project area, where the ground development was carried out, has been laid. The ground floor of the new terminal, built on an area of 10,000 square meters, will be 450 m2, and the regular 1st floor will have a total use area of 460 m2, with 910 m2.
13 platforms will be found
On the ground floor of the Gölcük terminal building, there is a waiting room, offices, a tea house, prayer rooms, a safe, a security room and toilets. On the first floor, there are offices, a warehouse, a personal changing room, a ventilation installation, an electrical room and a toilet. There will also be 13 platforms in the terminal.
