PLANTATION, Fla. — One size doesn’t fit all when it comes to adjustable bed bases, according to GhostBed, which has introduced a new offering to the category that has legs that can be changed to be 7, 11, or 15 inches tall.
The boxed bed retailer and manufacturer says the height-customizable base has additional benefits for consumers who like a low-profile sleep system.
“The bedding industry has been moving towards customization for many years, and when we found this height option, we knew it would be well received by consumers,” said Marc Werner, president and CEO of the management of GhostBed. “Of course, we wanted to make sure we could incorporate the adjustable height feature into a complete product that also had the best quality and durability.”
With numerous ergonomic positions, the redesigned base offers independent head and foot adjustment for maximum customization, as well as 15 dual-zone quiet massage modes. It also includes one-touch buttons for weightlessness, anti-snore, watch TV and more; LED lighting under the bed; four USB ports; and a flashlight built right into the wireless remote.
The new base also features a new patented design, which allows it to fit into a box half the size of traditional adjustables, making handling and shipping easier and minimizing space on a truck or in a warehouse.
With a steel frame and contemporary charcoal gray fabric cover, it sells for $1,699 as a queen.
