BAPE and Tendo Mokko team up for furniture collaboration

From monkey-headed NFTs to collaborations with brands like Vans and JJJJound, BAPE continues to show that you can never have too many monkeys and camouflage in your life. In fact, why not make it a way of life?

BAPE has teamed up with Japanese furniture brand Tendo Mokko for an exclusive homeware collaboration. Now your crib can get the BAPE treatment (if it hasn’t already).

The duo merged geniuses for three chairs, designed by famous Japanese designers Katsuhei Toyoguchi, Daisaku Cho, Mitsumasa Sugazawa.

The BAPE x Tendo Mokko collection includes a low chair, a spoke chair and a rocking chair. Marked with the label “A Bathing Ape x Tendo”, each piece combines BAPE’s iconic ABC CAMO with traditional Japanese architectural codes for furniture that can indeed live on.

Simply put, the pieces in the collaboration are modern, yet timeless.

You can’t help but appreciate the serenity each chair brings into the home. Low silhouettes and relaxing features set the tone for your cushion. Not to mention that the chairs add a visual touch to the crib. I mean, you can’t go wrong with this famous camouflage.

BAPE is no stranger to the world of lifestyle products, especially home decor. Thanks to BAPE Home, the Japanese streetwear brand is dabbling in crib items including monkey head tables, camo side chairs with EAMES and even rugs, to name a few.

If you’re looking to drench the crib with some BAPE, the BAPE x Tendo Mokko collection is available on Bape’s site. Chairs range from 100,000 yen to 170,000 yen (about $870 to $1,478).
